Just curious if for the purposes of modding, there's any difference between the GOTY edition and just buying all the DLC individually. (Im thinking about upgrading from base version of the game to all DLC, and am just worried if I buy GOTY edition things like the Unofficial FO4 Patch won't work). Archived post.

Fallout 4 GOTY Edition comes with a code for the DLC instead of being on disc. Just a heads up for anyone who might buy this in the future, I was going to buy a used copy but figured I'd but a new one since it wasn't that much more expensive (€20) than a used copy. I had thought it would just have all the DLC on disc, like Skyrim Special Edition.
