If you have the full 8-item inventory you can load up Chapter 8 and max out your inventory with 8 split shots (or maybe jazz hands, I've heard they're even better but haven't tried them) and you can run that same lap you grind on the Rollerhawg for the PP trials and easily rack up a 4-5k combo before you run out of ammo.
